another week?

wow. i can hardly believe that another week has gone. time goes so quickly here - probably because i spend the vast majority of my waking hours in class. (3 classrooms to be exact). i have to say that there was not much of note that happened this week: i watched a bit of gossip girl with the med student girls, went to the whole foods 20th anniversary party, and baked mushroom lasagna with my roommate. oh, and i realized that i wear the world.

i know that is a strange sentence, but a couple of days i looked down at what i was wearing and was surprised by myself. here is what i was wearing and their origins: orange pants & white shirt: usa (jcrew), shoes: germany (birkenstock), scarf: UAE (thanks to ingrid), bracelet: china (my madeleine), sweater: france (bought in tours with elyse and erin), and earrings: denmark (given to me in cambridge by my dear friend malou's mother). basically, it was global accessorizing, and i loved that all of these places help me be who i am.

sorry if this was a weird post - next weekend is halloween and we have a pumpkin carving contest in anatomy, so i'm sure to have something better soon!
