a new york visit!

this past weekend i had a treat - a visit! my mom, grandma, and elizabeth braved the heat and the cross-country plane ride to visit me. we had a lovely time. here are some highlights:

we also saw billy elliott, which was probably my favorite broadway show. if you don't know the storyline, look it up! short story: it is set in england during the miners' strike of 1984 (can you already tell why i love it??) billy decides that instead of boxing lessons, he wants to take ballet. anyway, from the all british cast to the adorable boy playing billy, i loved it. highly recommended to all!
