allison and i decided we couldn't bear to leave california (in less than 2 years!) without having learned to surf. so, we set out to take a couple lessons and try our luck in santa cruz. santa cruz is a town unlike any other i've been to - where people could walk around in actually ANYTHING without getting weird looks.
