SUMMER

"my summer is over," i keep thinking to myself. it is a depressing thought, but one that keeps turning out to be wrong! i thought my summer was over when i flew back to america, then again when i came back to palo alto, and even more surely when i started my surgery rotation. yet, somehow, i continue to have wonderful summer experiences! i'll keep myself busy with a few blog posts over the next couple of days...

i've had a pretty incredible summer. in egypt, we:

saw the sphinx

and the pyramids

survived a family camel ride

took a nile river cruise

went to tahrir square (where there may have been a protest later that night...)

saw the citadel

was dressed in this attractive attire

visited the red sea, and went snorkeling there

climbed mt sinai at 1:30 a.m. for the sunrise
